Ralynn Thompson joined Patterson Thuente IP in 2008 and has more than 10 years of experience in IP law, particularly in the area of patent prosecution. Ralynn currently manages Information Disclosure Statement portfolios for the firm’s patent prosecution team. In her role, she focuses on cases involving extensive patent research, ensuring that relevant material to the patentability of the invention is disclosed. Ralynn also assists with the filing and prosecution of U.S. and international patents.

In addition, Ralynn handles to following work for our clients:

  • Preparing patent documents for attorney review prior to filing at the USPTO and with state offices around the world
  • Communicating with non-U.S. counsel regarding prosecution, registration, maintenance and ownership transfers
  • Corresponding with clients regarding general patent inquiries and deadlines
  • Performing worldwide patent searching
  • Staying abreast of patent office rules worldwide
