IP Litigation Paralegal

Patricia May is a Litigation Paralegal at Patterson Thuente IP. She has over 30 years’ experience as both a litigation paralegal and as a civil paralegal for a County Attorneys’ Office. She provides legal and administrative support to the intellectual property litigation team at Patterson Thuente.

Patricia has both private practice law firm and government experience, having spent a majority of her career as the civil paralegal in the Carver County Attorney’s Office handling complex eminent domain actions. Her positions in private practice include supporting the lead regional counsel handling personal injury and product liability actions for a nationally known company. In her most recent law firm position, she supported the firm’s patent and trademark attorney in all aspects of litigation relating to trademark and patent infringement matters.

Outside of the office Patricia enjoys weekends at her cabin up north, standup paddle boarding, bicycling, downhill skiing and sewing quilts.
