Biography

Nathanael Ashton-Piper handles marketing and social media at Patterson Thuente IP. Shortly after joining the firm in the fall of 2021, Nathanael revamped the firm’s LinkedInFacebook and Twitter pages, and curates content for the social media channels on a day-to-day basis. For example, the firm made a triumphant return to Facebook with this Michael Jordan-esque announcement.

As a former journalism student at the University of Minnesota, Nathanael contributes to the firm’s IP Law Blog with writing and copy editing. He also works in a legal assistant role serving mainly for one of our international automotive clients. As an aspiring J.D. candidate, Nathanael says that he cherishes the opportunity to work in a law firm.

Outside the office, Nathanael is an avid biker and music enjoyer; his favorite bike route in Minneapolis is going down to Minnehaha Falls, and his top song from 2021 was a 1980s classic by Teddy Pendergrass. He is also a diehard and hopeless Minnesota sports fan.
