Lisa M. Griffith

Of Counsel – Patent Attorney

Lisa Griffith is a registered patent attorney serving as Of Counsel at Patterson Thuente IP. Lisa began her legal career at 3M in Minnesota, transitioned to private practice and now has over 25 years of experience serving diverse small and large clients in both in-house and outside counsel roles. Her years of experience have allowed her to become well-versed in many areas of law focused around patents and trademarks.

Primary practice areas include: developing and implementing IP strategies for clients of all sizes; preparing and prosecuting worldwide patent applications in a wide variety of technologies; assisting clients with brand protection, including trademark procurement and enforcement; preparing and negotiating IP-related agreements; and representing plaintiffs and defendants in federal district court litigation matters.

Lisa works in our firm’s Bozeman, Montana, office and is based in West Yellowstone, Montana, where she is also serving as an elected member of the West Yellowstone Town Council. When not sitting behind her computer, Lisa can often be found enjoying the great outdoors.
