Doug Christensen, a partner at Patterson Thuente, maintains a vibrant U.S. and international patent prosecution practice and has obtained hundreds of patents for clients with global name recognition. Doug counsels his clients on all aspects of intellectual property, including licensing and domestic and international patent infringement litigation. He focuses his practice on the mechanical, electro-mechanical, medical device and semiconductor manufacturing industries, and is experienced in developing and managing extensive patent portfolios for his clients. Doug's significant first-chair trial experience is also valuable as he counsels clients on infringement matters. Professional Experience Doug's industry experience includes working for several years as a mechanical engineer involved in equipment design and as a drilling engineer in the oil and gas industry.
