Daidre L. Burgess

Daidre Burgess is an associate with Patterson Thuente. Her practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution for both domestic and international clients in the mechanical, chemical and medical device arts. In addition, Daidre counsels clients with respect to intellectual property portfolio management and preparation of patent opinions. Professional Experience Prior to pursuing a career in law, Daidre worked at 3M's Abrasive Systems division. During her time with 3M, she served first as a technical aide, performing testing and data analysis, and later as an advanced product development engineer for the Coated Abrasives Lab. She was a Green Belt for Six Sigma operations and led numerous cross-functional development teams focused on new product development, process improvement, and test method development.
